Readiness Meeting

Click here to watch the recording from the Kindergarten Readiness meeting on March 23, 2022. Also, bags were available prior to the meeting with materials referenced in the video. We had such a great response that we have run out of these materials at the current moment. We will be preparing more materials and will send an email at a later date to let you know when they are available for pick-up.

Register to Attend

Please consider joining us on March 23, 2022 at 6 p.m. to learn more about what to expect of your child in kindergarten and have them ready to learn at the beginning of the school year! Please register here to receive directions about materials for the evening as well as a link to join from home.

Thank you for pre-registering at the link above to attend our annual Kindergarten Readiness Meeting. Prior to the event on March 23, there will be materials ready for pick-up at the Education Center for each family. These items will be available between March 15 and March 23 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Many of these items can be found in your home, however, we have a limited number of materials available for pick-up that have been prepared in advance for you to use for the evening. If you would prefer to locate these materials in your home ahead of time for that evening, those items include:

Lucy Calkins' Kindergarten ABC chart (colored copy)

Verbal Pathways (2 sided - upper/lowercase)

Directions for using ABC chart/Phonemic Awareness (2 sided)

sharpened pencil

3 colors of construction paper (1/2 sheet each)

Sentence strip

pompoms (at least 2 different colors)

glue stick

large tweezers

We have some exciting things planned to learn together on March 23 at 6 p.m. To join that evening, you should have received a confirmation and link to join. Another message will be sent closer to the date to join.

We look forward to having you and your child join us that evening to learn about what to expect for your child in kindergarten and help them to have a successful transition to school.
