Summer Kindergarten Pop-Up Events in the Community
District staff will be holding pop-up events throughout the summer to get our incoming kindergarten students excited for the upcoming school year. If you are interested in knowing when these events are being held as they are scheduled, join our "Remind" group by texting the class code @rlasd to 81010 to be the first to know! These events will occur approximately weekly in different locations across the District.

Attend our next Kindergarten Pop-up event to be held at North Hopewell-Winterstown (NHW) Elementary on Tuesday, July 25. This event will introduce your child to physical education class with Mrs. Emily Eppley, physical education teacher at NHW and Clearview Elementary.
The event will start in the gymnasium located just inside the main entrance doors of NHW. Dress your child in sneakers and bring along a water bottle for some fun activities. Please RSVP at the link below if you will be able to attend so that we may have the necessary equipment ready for the games.

Have you heard the roar about our kindergarten pop-up events taking place around town?
There have already been 4 events and only a few more are on the schedule for this summer! Next week's event will take place at Mazie Gable Elementary School on their playground. You can access the playground and parking easily from the back entrance of the school.

Incoming kindergarten families were invited to Kaltreider-Benfer Library yesterday, as part of our pop-up program for the Class of 2036. The students listened to a story from Ms. Gina Meinl, Youth Services Coordinator, had a snack, and completed a craft to accompany the story ("The Perfect Fit") prepared by Mrs. Sheila Hughes (North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary Principal) with the assistance of Mrs. Megan Jordan (Larry J. Macaluso Elementary Kindergarten teacher) and Ms. Kate Diorio (Director of Pupil Services) from the District. A few lucky winners won door prizes to promote learning and fun! Thanks to everyone who attended and thank you again to Kaltreider-Benfer Library for hosting this event! Stay tuned later for next week's event details.
